HARD FACTS FOR ALL
- 60-80 minutes walking time for the 2.2 km and 313 meters in altitude
- 17 light and sound installations

- start of the world tour in Saanenmöser (Moritz Scherwey, ski and snowboard service)
- ascent fee (road customs) CHF 15.- (kids CHF 10.-) to be paid in the restaurant Lochstafel after the hike
- dogs are allowed
HARD FACTS: FRIDAYS
- Reservation required, possible until 5 p.m. Thursday
- Supper: crispy salad, gstaader cheese fondue with herbs or thai curry, fine dessert CHF 38.00
- 22 & 29 Dec. + 05, 12 & 19 Jan. Magic Trail is illuminated from 5 p.m.–7 p.m.
- 26 Jan. + 02 & 09 February Magic Trail is illuminated from 5.45p.m.–7.45 p.m.
- 16 & 23 Feb. + 01 March: Magic Trail is illuminated from 6.15 p.m. – 8.15 p.m.
- Equipment: head lamp, snowshoes, poles (at the beginning of the hike), magic sled (waiting at the restaurant) CHF 25.00
- The snow taxi can be organized for people with „restrictions“ from the middle station
HARD FACTS: SATURDAYS
- Without reservation and without sleigh rental (you can bring your own sleigh)
- With snacks and hot drinks at the Lochstafel restaurant
- Descent – via winter hiking trail – approx. 25 minutes
- December 16th, 23th & 30th (from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.)
- January 6 & 27 (from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.)
- February 03 & 10 (from 17.45h – 20.45h)
- February 17 & 24 (from 18.15h – 20.45h)
- 02 March Final magic (18.30h – 20.45h)

EQUIPMENT
- Reserve your Pro 2.0 snowshoes, poles and head lamp for CHF 25.00 at Moritz Scherwey, Ski & Snowboard Service Tel. 033 744 91 42
- Of course, you can bring also your own lamp, snowshoes and sled.
THE CLIMB
- the magic starts at Moritz Scherwey Ski & Snowboard Service in Saanenmöser.
- The 2.2 km route takes you first along the winter footpath, then crosses the ski run and climbs higher than the middle station.
- A wide path, which gradually becomes narrower, winds its way through the ‚Horegrabe‘, on which you overcome the last few meters of altitude.
- The snowshoe trek takes 60 to 80 minutes.
- Guides can be requested at http://www.wanderguru.ch or http://www.alpinzentrum.ch
REQUIREMENTS
- You like to move in snowy landscapes.
- You are interested in exercise, culture, food and drinks.
- Good shoes and winter clothing are mandatory.
- We recommend a helmet for the sled ride.
- You are older than 9 (earth) years.
- That we are not fully booked yet.

power consumption
Light art need electricity. However it is important for us to emphasize that the power consumstion of the magic trail remains within a narrow range. thanks to new technologies, such as the use of LEDs, power consumptioncan be kept very low. In addition to the art installations, we also refrain from any other extraordinary lighting. the power consumption would be higher if the visitors would spend the evening at home.
Therefore: „Come on the magic trail in Saanenmöser and save electricity!“
